Several years ago, our design team had the privilege of transforming a historic castle in the countryside of London into a grand yet traditional residence. This time, our client sought something entirely different—a modern, luxurious space that captures the energy of urban living while maintaining the warmth and richness of their previous home.

The volumes within this duplex allowed our team to truly unleash creativity. High ceilings and expansive rooms provided the perfect canvas for a design that is both grand and inviting. The challenge was to create a space that is modern and luxurious, without slipping into the cold, minimalist aesthetic that often defines contemporary design.

The Elegance of Hugues Chevalier: Furniture That Defines the Space

Central to the apartment’s design is the furniture collection from Hugues Chevalier. The contemporary pieces from the St. Germain collection, known for their clean lines and sophisticated finishes, were carefully chosen to complement the apartment’s modern architecture. Among these, an incredible dining table stands as a centerpiece—its sleek design and impeccable craftsmanship making it as much a work of art as a functional piece of furniture.

Sustainability Meets Sophistication: An Eco-Conscious Approach

In designing this duplex, sustainability was a key consideration. We aimed to create a luxurious space that is also kind to the environment. Recycled materials play a significant role in the design, from the marble countertops that grace the kitchen to the rich wooden floors that run throughout the apartment.
