Founded in 1987 in Cordovado, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Midj has built its reputation on a conviction: that dining furniture should inspire joy as much as admiration. Over three decades, the house has combined the discipline of industrial production with the sensibility inherent to its territory's craftsmanship, delivering chairs, tables, stools and accessories with an immediately recognisable character.

Certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Midj collaborates with Italian and international designers — Paolo Vernier, Beatriz Sempere, Studio Kappa, Alessandro Busana — who share the same taste for joyful forms, vibrant colours and solutions that work equally well at home, in a hotel or in a restaurant.

Spanish designer whose work for Midj has produced some of the most celebrated pieces in the catalogue, Beatriz Sempere is the author of the Forest table (2017) — a landmark in contemporary design.
